GREAT DECISIONS is back at Rianda House in 2016 with John Wilson.
Our traditional introduction session will occur on: Tuesday, January 5 at 4:00 pm at Rianda House. Sign-up for either:
Monday sessions (January 11 to February 29)
or Tuesday session (January 12 to March 1).
Both sessions will occur from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

Sign-up with Mary Sherman, Rianda House by telephone (707-963-8555) or email: mary@riandahouse.org.  Sign-up as soon as possible so I can order sufficient material.  Cost of seminar will be $40 per couple sharing book or $30 per individual.

In addition, we make our usual $5 contribution to Rianda House per session to cover expenses, or $40 per person for the entire program.

Note: If there are insufficient sign-ups for two sessions this year, we will select either Monday or Tuesday depending upon the number who sign-up.  Sign-up as soon as possible.  Enrollment ends on December 10.

Topics for 2016 Sessions:

Session One: Middle East Alliances (A number of ongoing conflicts have shaken the traditional alliances in the Middle East to their core.  The U.S. has found itself between a rock and a hard place.  What about the future?)

Session Two:  The Rise of ISIS (What could be more current.)

Session Three:  The Future of Kurdistan (Home to the Kurds.  One of the U.S. closest allies
and a bulwark against the expansion of the so-called Islamic State.)

Session Four:  Migration (The refugee crisis in Europe has reached a crisis stage.  Is there a solution?)

Session Five:  The Koreas (South and North Korea--what is their future and how does it impact U.S. foreign policy?)

Session Six:  The United Nations (On the eve of its 70th birthday the United Nations stands at a crossroads.)

Session Seven:  Climate Change (Need I say more?)

Session Eight:  Cuba and the U.S. (What is the future with the normalization of relations between the two?)

A Bit of Humor:

I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus.

Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one. It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1955.

1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice.
Done that!

2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail!
That too!

3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.

4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you.

5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
Well well!

6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished.
Oh, no not again!

7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND."
And I just hate that!

8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE."
Oh No!

Have I already sent this to you?
Or did you send it to me?

This month's humor offered by
Sunday Family Humour site.
